Facilitation
Transformative: Causing a major change to something or someone, especially in a way that makes it or them better.
– Cambridge English Dictionary
I am a transformative facilitator, which means that I use creative facilitation techniques to open up space for people to explore and taste alternative ways of thinking, imagining, and sense-making, both collectively and individually.
My practice is grounded in strands of experience as a writer, performing artist, workplace trainer, and facilitator to devise and enable rich conversations that allow groups to draw on their collective imaginations and sense-making capabilities.
I am not interested in novelty for novelty’s sake; I design conversations and experiences that have intellectual and creative heft and which are centred on the needs of my clients.
My facilitation practice uses storytelling techniques and narrative design and analysis to explore resonances and gently unearth dissonances within teams. I offer groups support as they approach problems from unexplored angles and uncover hidden passageways that allow meaningful communication to flow.
The result: insights, recommendations and content that moves you closer towards your goals.
My facilitation skills have been used for:
Ideation and planning for creative or innovative projects
Enhancing futures literacy capabilities
Community research and engagement
Discussions about workplace culture
Business and strategic planning.
My clients have included:
